Default Guild Shop/Merchant

Itea for an addition to the Guild Hall (like buying a dye trader for in your guild hall) you can buy a "Guild Shop Keeper" Where members of the guild can put items up for sale (mabye you give the "Guild Shop Keeper" the items) then there are "Guild Merchants" in Major Town where other players not part of the guild can buy the items.

-The Guild Shop Keeper can only hold certin amount of items at a time.
-You have to be in a Guild to sell items through the "Guild Shop Keeper".
-When Giving the items to the "Guild Shop Keeper" Player Makes his/her price.
-Must be a search Function at the "Guild Merchants" in the towns.

as a said just an idea make selling/buying thins abit quicker.

Sooo...it is an auction house, but you can't sell things using it unless you a) are in a guild, b) have a guild hall, and c) have purchased this npc?

If when you say npcs in major towns who can sell the auctioned items to other players you also mean those npcs can let unguilded players use the full set of features, including search functions and the ability to put up their own items, then why didn't you post in one of the threads about auction houses and suggest an npc for the guild hall as well?

Lets improve the trading for everyone, not just for the people who meet the above, eh?

True, but the system the OP describes is still a solid one.

Lets make everyone allowed to participate in GvGs, even without guest pass. Let everyone have thier own private hall. Let people have capes.

Yes anyone can buy For the Merchants in the towns outposts, I read some of the other similar ideas bu ti think the thing about this is you can just put the items up for sale then leave if it sells's (mabye an on screen dialoug can just pop up) you will know about it money can get put on the person or in storage and everyone is happy no bidding or waiting just like NPC Merchants just with Player items.

And the thing about selling things only if your in a guild think about it most people playing are, there are the odd few that arnt but it will gie them more reason to join one.

Thx for Input all is apprecatiated (i sux at spelling)

No, this would completely ruin small guilds. Everyone would want to have access to the mini 'auction house' and it would be pointless in small guilds..Less people, less people buying and selling.
Guild Wars would end up with only large guilds.

Either that or you would have one or two people plugging up the storage space for everyone

This would be great, because it would allow you to sell items privately within the guild at a discount, before auctioning them to the public at large.

I often sell things for cheap/free within the guild, and then sell whats left to anyone.

Its not that expensive to buy an upgrade in your guild hall mabye 20k most guilds can afford that, mabye it would discourage a few small guilds but then we wouldent have people making guilds just BHecause they can.

That wasn't the point. Small guilds would buy the auction/trader upgrade for their guild sure. I agree that its not that expensive.
But if you only have 10 or 5 or even fewer people in your guild you won't have as much buying and selling going on. I can just see my of guild of 5 people being ruined because everyone would want to have access to a good Auction House/Trader, where they could find more stuff. Everyone would leave to the bigger guilds.

And what's wrong with making a guild just because you can? I made a guild with just my boyfriend and me in it at first, and we liked it like that. Then we started getting some more people over time. But we don't ever want to be a huge guild. This is a game, we play it to enjoy it.

I totally agree that we really need an Auction House or something though. Just not in Guild Halls.
